979 Mermes surface from the ocean abyss, hitching a ride into crypto wallets on one of ten sea creatures in an oceanic taxonomy borrowed from the food chain of bitcoin holders. The Species are all redeemable for counterpart physical artworks or can be sacrificed to the Redemption Wallet (merme.eth) to acquire a Special or Super Special.
Some Mermes have evolved into more advanced beings, even partaking in feudal society, these 27 Specials and 3 Super Specials are 1/1 Expanded NFTs redeemable for museum-grade physical artworks.

Production timescales
Physical artworks from Sea of Redemption are produced to exacting standards by the artist himself or in collaboration with selected fabricators. From this wide ranging collection, artworks may take between 1 to 6 months to complete.
Authentication
Method of Authenticity includes high resolution photographs, serial numbers/signature integrated into the artwork. These are appended onchain alongside condition reports when artworks are redeemed.
